The master is back in action! Clint Eastwood’s next film is a historical sports biopic titled “Invictus,” and a first trailer for the film has hit the Web. As expected, it looks grand, so check it out after the jump.
“Invictus” tells the inspiring true story of how Nelson Mandela (Morgan Freeman) joined forces with the captain of South Africa’s rugby team, Francois Pienaar (Matt Damon), to help unite their country.
Eastwood directed a screenplay by Anthony Peckham based on a book by John Carlin. The cast of “Invictus” also includes Scott Eastwood, Langley Kirkwood, Robert Hobbs and Tony Kgoroge.
